Joachim Raff

The music of the Swiss-German composer Joachim Raff was frequently performed during his lifetime. After his death, however, it virtually disappeared from the concert hall. Raff was a prolific composer. In these four weekly programmes. which cover a wide range of his output, there is a chance to reassess his music and so perhaps to establishwhetherornot his neglect has been justified.
