Hitchcock's To Catch a Thief

on BBC One London

An 80th Birthday Tribute starring
Cary Grant Grace Kelly
A famous jewel thief -'The Cat* -retires to the French Riviera to enjoy his ill-gotten wealth. But his ' retirement' is disturbed when another thief starts imitating his style and the police come too close for comfort.
This glamorous thriller continues a characteristic Hitchcock hero/ blonde relationship, where rivalry turns to romance amidst a setting of danger and intrigue.
Cary Grant and Grace Kelly had earlier worked with Alfred Hitchcock, and are ideally cast in the central romantic roles of this location-made movie.
