Mrs. Dale found Caradoc had 'flu so she moved him into the house in order to nurse him. Dr. Dale was called to Dr. Fenimore who also had 'flu. Bob upset Nanny again so she packed her bags and left. Mrs. Dale agreed to have the twins until other arrangements could be made. Sally heard that Marion had taken an over-dose of tablets and was very ill. Mrs. Freeman took her place at ' Sarah.'
