Miss England, Miss Scotland, Miss Wales

From over 5,000 entries, 31 girls tonight compete at London's Lyceum Ballroom in the final stages of a nationwide contest to select the three most beautiful girls in England, Scotland and Wales. The winners will represent their countries in both the Miss Universe contest and the Miss United Kingdom competition, where victory for the winning girl will put her in the running for the Miss World title.
The evening dress and swimsuit parades are introduced by David Vine and Terry Wogan
Arranged by Eric Morley and organised by Mecca Promotions in conjunction with Tesco and Windmill Records.
