Pacific Journey

on BBC One London

The 1982 Royal Tour of Australia and the South Pacific
One of the most colourful Royal Tours for many years ended last weekend when The Queen flew back to London after nearly a month of non-stop travel.
Reporter Brian Hanrahan and his camera team of Bernard Hesketh and John Jockel followed the royal journey from its beginnings at the Commonwealth Games in Brisbane to New Guinea, the Pacific islands and finally to that most loyal of Commonwealth countries, the island of Fiji.
