The top-rating medical drama returns for a new series - its eighth.
Still gently smouldering after the devastating fire that ended the last episode, Holby City's Accident and Emergency department is gradually getting back to business as usual.
Among the newcomers are Clinical Nurse Ken Hodges (Christopher Guard, who starred in A Woman of Substance), and Senior House Officer, Dr Karen Goodliffe. In the first episode, joyriders cause a major disaster, bringing Holby City emergency services out in strength.
