Simon Mayo hosts the new-look lottery show which combines a general-knowledge quiz with two cash draws.
In the Thunderball draw viewers have the chance to win cash prizes of up to a maximum £250,000 by matching up their lottery numbers with numbers on balls produced from two machines. In the quiz, meanwhile, contestants numbered from one to 49 are whittled down to just six after a series of questions and mathematical teasers. When a final winner emerges after further grilling, the Endgame sees them choose the answers to 49 questions from a large screen in the hope of winning a dream holiday.
If the last six digits of viewers' telephone numbers coincide with second-round contestants' personal numbers, they are entitled to register as contestants for next week's show by phoning the free hotline given in the show. The programme concludes with the big-money weekend lottery draw.
