Live from London's Hyde Park and including link-ups with Glasgow, Carrickfergus, Swansea and Middlesbrough, an evening of popular classics from the BBC Concert Orchestra and the Royal Choral Society, conducted by Carl Davis, with soprano Lesley Garrett and tenor Juan Diego Florez and clarinettist Mark Simpson. Terry Wogan hosts the 12th annual event, which features pop star Will Young. And at approximately 9.45 the grand finale from the Royal Albert Hall, with Jiri Belohlavek conducting the BBC Symphony Orchestra.

The Last Night of the Proms is on Radio3 at 7.30pm and televised on BBC2 at 7.30pm (part 1) and BBC1 at 9.15 (part 2)
