'Economics in a Changing World '-III

on National Programme Daventry

View in Radio Times

Commander STEPHEN KING-HALL
Experience has shown the existence of a large listening public for talks on economics. The series, ' The Economist in the Witness Box,' broadcast in the spring by Commander King-Hall and Mr. K. F. Hall , produced valuable evidence of the best way to cater for this public. The present series will bring professional economists to the microphone from time to time, but in the main it will consist of an impartial, non-technical running commentary on economic affairs week by week by Commander King-Hall. Whenever necessary, he will consult with professional economists before broadcasting, and report the result of his investigations to listeners.
