On patrol off the S.W. coast of Norway in June, 1940, the British submarine 'Shark' was spotted and attacked by German aircraft. Damaged and unable to submerge, her crew fought a six-hour battle against relays of German bombers. It was a lone battle with a dramatic end and only now can the full story be told.
