Now professional fund-raiser living in the Cotswolds, Francis Maynard has had a colourful and adventurous life. In his youth he found himself involved in revolutions in Russia and the Caribbean. Moving to the U.S.A., he became an orange-picker and worked for a bootlegger, and finished up having tea with President Coolidge at the White House. Produced by David GLENCROSS
