Saturday Film: Emperor of the North

Two of Hollywood's tough guys are reunited with the director of The Dirty Dozen in tonight's film, set in the 1930s Depression era. Marvin plays Oregon's top railroad hobo. Borgnine is the sadistic train guard who ' would rather kill a man than give him a free ride'. The violent conflict between the two men is heightened by the arrival of a young tramp, Cigaret, who decides to learn from the top man how to ride the trains.
