Westbeach

on BBC One London

A ten-part drama serial created by Tony Marchant - writer of Goodbye Cruel World and Take Me
Home - about two rival families in a fictional seaside town.
Just Another Saturday. The fortunes of the Prestons, a family who have been the pillar of the Westbeach community for 150 years, are in decline. The Cromers, with their amusement arcades, nightclubs and caravan park, are prospering. Both believe they know what's best for Westbeach. But between Sarah Preston and Alan Cromer the battle seems more personal than business.
