Men and women from Ack-Ack units in the Midlands, and workers from a factory engaged in making anti-aircraft guns, get together in the factory canteen for a joint programme, with music played for them by the military and dance bands from a Midlands balloon centre. The makers of guns and users of them both contribute to the show, with song, comedy, and interest items.
