A Welshman in London
Bom into a rural west Wales community at the turn of the century, E. B. Byron Jones left his homeland to work in England. Far from turning his back on his native heritage, he became absorbed into the rich social, cultural and religious life of London Welsh society.
He talks to Margaret Howard about his Welshness ('a sort of Welshness that clings to you') and about the Borough Welsh Congregational Chapel which remains so close to his heart. Stereo
