Constance Cummings, Vera Lynn, Owen Nares, Lionel Gamlin, Howard Marshall, and Billy Ternent are some of the famous people who provide specially recorded problems for this contest, devised by Neil Munro , and arranged and presented by Ronald Waldman and Audrey Cameron in aid of the Red Cross Penny-a-Week Fund
The entire entry fees are devoted to the fund. The last day for posting your entries is Thursday, September 24, and the address is £250 Red Cross Radio Contest, London, W.C.2.
A recorded repeat of this programme will be broadcast on Monday next in the Forces programme.
The results of this Contest will be announced after the 6.0 p.m. News Bulletin on Sunday, October 11, and also in the RADIO Times published on October 16.
