The story of how soul singer David Grant set out to create a multi-cultural, multi-national and multi-racial group of singers. The result was United Colours of Sound, a group of 12 people of eight nationalities and widely varying backgrounds. This film follows the band over a year as they write, rehearse and make their bid for glory.
