Private eye John Rogue is hired by Dr Pettingill, a wealthy psychiatrist, to tail a beautiful young girl who he suspects is contemplating suicide. Pettingill's fears seem to be justified when Rogue follows the girl to a mortuary and overhears her ordering a coffin and a tombstone - with her name on it.
