Saturday Late Film: Up the Chastity Belt

on BBC One London

starring Frankie Howerd
Graham Crowden and Bill Fraser
Having been kidnapped at birth the high-born Lurkalot has spent his life as a lowly serf. But his natural cunning eventually earns him his rightful place on a throne. Comedian Frankie Howerd revels in the central role in this bawdy story of the middle ages, where the ' wenches' are chased rather than chaste and the knights are dastardly rather than noble.
