MRS. DALE'S DIARY

on Light Programme

Script by Lesley Wilson
Repeated on Tuesday at 11.15 a.m.
Produced by Betty Davies and Eileen Cullen
Mrs. Dale writes:
I think Jim has forgiven me for what he calls my ' interference ' but there have been repercussions all round over Charlie Sheans ' lead poisoning. Fickling turned up to work for Mr. Bonner after all and is proving very satisfactory. Sam Odgers has offered Mrs. Maggs a modern flat while the builders are in her house, but she obstinately refuses to move. Vicky is talking of going to Paris for Easter, and I feel rather worried about Mother coping with the shop alone; she really is looking tired and overworked.
