In a talk last year John Foster spoke about an important discovery of Christian relics from fourteenth-century China. In this talk he describes, from contemporary Latin documents, the martyrdom in India of four Franciscans who were on their way to join the China mission. He recently visited the scene of the martyrdom, near Bombay.
