The Conference of British Missionary Societies, in which practically all the Protestant organisations in Great Britain consult together, arose out of the great Edinburgh Missionary Conference in 1910, of which Mr. Maclennan was one of the secretaries. Mr. Maclennan will fhow that however divided the churches may seem to be at home, they are more and more working in co-operation overseas. The British Conference is itself a part of the International Missionary Council, which embraces Protestant work throughout tho world.
