Marilyn Monroe: Some Like It Hot

on BBC One London

A new season of feature films with Hollywood's most explosive yet vulnerable creation
Starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon
with George Raft, Pat O'Brien, Joe E. Brown

Two jazz musicians, played by Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis, accidentally witness the St Valentine's Day Massacre. Fleeing for their lives, they leave Chicago dressed as members of an all-girls orchestra in which Marilyn is the vocalist and ukulele player. Thanks to Billy Wilder's direction this risque story became one of the most hilarious comedies made in the 50s.
