Brian Kay talks to the British soprano and introduces some of the recordings she made in concert and in the studio during the eighties, including lute songs by Thomas Campion and Robert Jones , works byTromboncino, Rovetta and De Rore , and madrigals by John Ward (all with members of the Consort of Musicke, directed by Anthony Rooley ), and Bach's Cantata No 51:Jauchzet Gott in Allen Landen , with the Taverner Players conducted by Andrew Parrott.
