on BBC Radio 3

Laura Cumming discusses one of the literary events of the year - the new novel from Saul Bellow. At the heart of Ravelstein is the story of philosopher and writer Abe Ravelstein, loosely based on one of Bellow's former colleagues. The novel has already caused debate in America, and Laura Cumming and her guests give their verdict tonight. And acclaimed Hungarian director Istvan Szabo talks about his new film Sunshine, which follows the fortunes of a Hungarian-Jewish family over 50 years. Plus another selection of arts sites on the internet.
