Appeal on behalf of the Chalfont Colony for Epileptics by Flora Robson, C.B.E.
Contributions will be gratefully acknowledged and should be addressed to Miss Flora Robson, [address removed]
The Colony, Chalfont St. Peter, provides employment and accommodation for five hundred epileptics from all over the United Kingdom. It was founded in 1893, and there is now an urgent need for the modernisation of many of its buildings and for raising the standard of comfort of the colonists to comply with present-day ideas. Much has been done in the past few years but much still remains to be done; to enable this improvement to continue, the Colony is dependent on the generosity of the charitable public.
