It is estimated that hundreds of lives have been saved in Northern Ireland thanks to dogs that can sniff out explosives and weapons. For eight months at the Defence Animal Centre the latest recruits, exuberant spaniels Milo and Basil, will be taught to play an elaborate game of hide and seek.
