Schubert Drei Klavierstiicke (D 946)
These three pieces, to which Schubert gave no title, date from 1828, the year of his death They are sometimes referred to as Impromptus and it seems that Schubert was intending to write four pieces. as in the two accredited sets of Impromptus D 899 and 935. The Three Pieces were first published 40 years after Schubert's death, edited (anonymously) by Brahms.
