To celebrate the tercentenary of the official opening of the quire of St Paul's Cathedral on 5 December
1697, Jeremy Summerly introduces a programme in which the cathedral choir, conducted by John Scott , performs music that has close associations with St Paul's, including pieces by previous organists Thomas Morley , Maurice Greene , Jeremiah Clarke and Thomas Attwood.
Guests include Martin Stancliffe , the Surveyor to the Fabric; and Bruce Wood , who has edited an anthem by William Croft for this programme. Producer Andrew Mussett
