The speaker this evening, Air-Commodore John Adrian Chzmier, is a retired officer of the Royal Air Force, now an aviation consultant and agent, and secretary of the General Air League of the British Empire. In 1927-28 he served as Director of Technical Development at the Air Ministry. His war record is distinguished: he was mentioned in despatches and was awarded the D.S.O.
