Two of the people whom Bernie Weinstock has been employed to track down have suddenly died in mysterious circumstances - apparently murdered by a man with a limp. Bernie is now in danger himself. Will he escape and be able to track down the third person, which entails trips to Oxfordshire, Beaulieu and then on to the Caribbean?
