Between them, John Drewe and John Myatt produced 200 counterfeit paintings using emulsion mixed with lubricant, and gave them a false history by doctoring catalogue entries in art archives. Their machinations were only foiled by accident in a police station in 1995. This film tells the story of an ingenious crime.
