'New Books in Scotland'

W. MACKAY MACKENZIE , D.Litt.
(From Edinburgh)
Our reviews of Scottish letters have been in abeyance for some time, but it is now proposed to include one in the programmes once a month. The books to be reviewed will include those dealing with history, biography, travel, topography, sport, drama, and poetry. It is heartening to hear that so many books in these departments are being written as to warrant a monthly review. In the past it was thought sufficient to deal with Scottish books four times a year. Dr. W. Mackay Mackenzie is a well-known Scottish scholar and published the works of William Dunbar a short time ago.
