Six films about inner cities now - seen through the eyes of people who live and work in them. Doing the Screws
Homeworking is usually associated with tatty back-street businesses - Christmas crackers, toys, the rag trade. Tonight's film looks at the acceptable and the not-so-acceptable faces of homeworking in a major industry - and at the ambivalent role of the trade union movement in protecting the lowest of the low-paid.
