To mark the 200th anniversary of the abolition of the slave trade in Britain, actress Sophie Okonedo (Dirty Pretty Things, Hotel Rwanda) reads Ann Rinaidi's story of seven-year-old Senegalese Phillis Wheatley, whose literary abilities were nurtured by the wealthy Boston family she was sold to in 1761, Phillis's involuntary move to Boston and her owners' recognition of her talent.
