Clifford Curzon was born in 1007, and studied at the Royal Academy of Music, where he won the Potter Exhibition, the Thalberg Scholarship, and several other honours. He then went to Berlin and studied under Artur Schnabel. In 1928 Mr. Curzon had a great success in Berlin and the following year made a tour of Germany. In 1930 he married Lucille Wallace, the famous harpsichordist.
