Best Inventions Update

on BBC One London

In this one-off special, Katy Hill of Tomorrow's World catches up with some of those innovations included in the first series of Best Inventions, which featured ideas from around the country and asked the audience to vote for their favourite products. Among the designs on view are an LED t-shirt that has attracted the interest of a millionaire backer and a cleaning machine for contact lenses that could be in the shops in time for Christmas.
The new series of Best Inventions is scheduled to start in November, while Tomorrow's World will return in 2003. Series producer Alison Gregory ; Executive producer Tina Fletcher www.bbc.co.uk/factsheets/bestinventions
