Your Witness: 1: Euthanasia

on BBC One London

The first of a series of special television debates.

"Mercy killing should no longer be a criminal offence."
Ludovic Kennedy calls Professor Glanville Williams to prove this proposition and Leo Abse, M.P. to disprove it.
Each of them may call any witnesses he wishes to substantiate his argument and use as evidence any film from the archives of the BBC.
The issue will be debated before a panel of thirty young lawyers and a specially invited audience.
