Presenters this week, Julie Stevens, Rick Jones
In the story chair, Lionel Gamlin
(First shown on BBC-2)

Lionel Gamlin has become a frequent visitor to Play School but this was his first week and he chose to tell two stories about the sun and a traditional tale called 'The Pedlar and his Caps'. Tuesday's story is 'Noah's Ark' and Thursday's picturebook is Tom, Tom the Piper's Son illustrated by Paul Galdone. On dressing-up day Rick Jones and Julie Stevens put on working clothes and do some repairs to Play School-and on Friday they use a mirror to paint self-portraits.
