The Prince of Wales Award for
Industrial Innovation and Production Tonight in the first of two special programmes Tomorrow's World visits Highgrove, the country home of Their Royal Highnesses The Prince and Princess of Wales, where the eight finalists selected from hundreds of entries in this year's competition were invited to demonstrate their original ideas and inventions and receive certificates from The Prince of Wales. The ideas range from a new design of sailing dinghy to a simple way of eye testing using a laser.
This successful group of finalists will go on to the second year of the competition during which their progress in production and development will be assessed by the judges. The most successful will receive next year's award from The Prince of Wales.
