Mrs. Dale, the doctor's wife, records the daily happenings in the life of her family
Script by Basil Dawson
The new E.A.L. branch opened and Mr. Rodgers again tried to persuade Sally that it would ruin her business. Grandfather Dale came up to London for a few days.
Mrs. Mountford called on Dr. Dade, asked him to arrange for her to be shown over the hospital, and intimated that she wished to become his patient again. Sally left for a business trip to Paris; Mr. Fulton visited the shop to see how things were going in her absence and quarrelled with Mrs. Freeman. While he was there a customer arrived and made several purchases for which she paid by cheque. Bob went to work early hoping to see a workmate about a plan for reducing his travelling time; Mrs. Dale wondered whether this meant that he had definitely decided to take a room near the airfield.
