A pair of accomplished con men - one white, one black - succeed in exploiting the greed of gullible slave dealers in Missouri and Kansas. John Brown and his band of liberationists pose a threat to their profitable partnership, but help is soon at hand when Ginger, a pretty con artist with a heart of gold, joins forces with the racketeers.
