Divorced from his attractive wife Jan, David is allowed to see his two daughters only once a week and quickly comes to resent his role as a ' Sunday father!' Fearing that he will lose them altogether if Jan remarries, he devises a desperate plan. This made-for-tv movie deals with a highly controversial subject -and a problem that occurs thousands of times each year in America.
