Just over a week ago, the Dutch street band Orkest de Volharding gave a concert in Amsterdam's
Ijsbreker Hall. On the bill was a new BBC commission by Martin Butler as well as several other new works from America and the Netherlands. Christopher Fox was there to sample the atmosphere, hear the performance and talk to some of the composers.
