THE occasion of this discussion is an exhibition of industrial art, jointly organised by the Birmingham Art Gallery and the Design in Industry Association. The Art Gallery celebrates its jubilee this year. Mr. Kaincs Smith is the Keeper of the Gallery ; he has written several books on art, and has broadcast several times.
