Royal Canada

on BBC One London

A pictorial diary of the June visit by The Prince and Princess of Wales to the Provinces of Canada. This tour fulfils part of a promise Prince Charles made at the time of his wedding. His wife would see the Commonwealth and the Commonwealth would see his wife, as soon as practicable. The arrival of Prince William set the timetable back somewhat. But now, in the space of a few months, people from Australia, New Zealand and Canada have seen the Princess Personally. Many more have watched her on television.
Martin Bell followed them from the islands and coastal towns of Canada's eastern provinces, through Newfoundland, Nova Scotia , New Brunswick, to the site of the World University Games in Edmonton, Alberta.
