Analysis: The Democrats and the White House

Watergate and last year's Congressional Elections appeared to leave the Democrats as the major party in the United States but, as the campaign for the Presidential nomination gets under way. President Ford seems to be firmly in the driving seat. With potential candidates as different as Hubert Humphrey and George Wallace can the Democrats translate their success in getting Congressional votes into Presidential votes?
