Stir Crazy

on BBC One London

The outrageous comedy starring Gene Wilder
Richard Pryor
Jobeth Williams
Two of New York's finest but least successful theatrical talents - Skip Donahue and Harry Monroe - decide to head west to California and health, wealth and happiness. Unfortunately a case of mistaken identity en route leads them to being put in jail, nothing serious -just 125 years a-piece!
Life inside is no bed of roses and Skip is determined to break out - not using the traditional wooden horse but a mechanical bucking bull!
Screenplay by BRUCE JAY FRIEDMAN Produced by HANNAH WEINSTEIN Directed by SIDNEY POITIER
