The world's fastest skiers compete in the thrilling Blue Riband event of Alpine ski-ing. Among the favourites on the spectacular White-face Mountain course are Switzerland's PETER MUELLER , winner of three downhills this season, and Canada's KEN READ , winner of both the classic Hahnenkamm and Lauberhorn. But a strong team of Austrians will be out to retain the title won in Innsbruck by FRANZ KLAMMER.
