A puppet version of the famous fairytale
One day, while picking wild strawberries in the forest, Hansel and Gretel become lost and are captured by a wicked witch who lives in a gingerbread house. Fortunately for the children they are being watched over by the angels, and after many adventures are safely restored to their parents.

Based on Humperdinck's operetta, with the voices of Anna Russell (Rosina Rubylips, the witch), Mildred Dunnock (Mother), Frank Rogier (Father), Delbert Anderson (Sandman), Helen Boatright (Dew Fairy), Constance Brigham (Hansel and Gretel), The Apollo Boys' Choir (Angels and Children)
